Um, I wouldn't necessarily say I stopped modeling because again, as an artist, you're automatically tied into modeling. But I will say that I'm more so focused on uh the music side. And um, I think when it comes to modeling, I'm more so into kind of like doing uh or I'm looking forward to receiving like uh brand deals or like modeling for um other people's uh designs to you know show them in my music videos and things of that nature. But as far as like runway and like fashion model, like Victoria's Secret, uh not yet. Not quite.

Um, and yeah, I kind of do that just to pay the bills and um to really fund my music career. But it is a passion of mine that I do love. Uh but I will say that doing doing this kind of work uh has really opened my eyes, and I I kind of feel like uh it's not what I thought it was going to be. So um, as far as like pursuing nursing or any type of nursing degree, I kind of put that on the back burner and I'm focusing more on my music.

Oh, my morning routine as a creator. I will listen to a beat on my way to work, and I will probably listen to that beat if I'm working on a song. I'll probably listen to it for at least like I'll probably listen to it for about five days before I start writing. Typically I'll write like in between, but once I actually like start like getting the bars together, getting the hook together, and things like that, I'll listen to it for about five days.

Okay. Yeah, that's actually a trick that I learned from um this one artist that I'm currently doing a collab with. Um, she taught me, shout out to Chi Give Me. She taught me, she was like, if you ever want to like learn a beat or when you're writing, she said you you have to listen to it consistently. Otherwise, it's not gonna stick. Like you can't listen to it just once. You have to keep listening to it. And it gets redundant, it gets redundant, but if you keep doing it and keep listening to it, like it's gonna stick, and then the words will start to come in on their own.

That's true. Yeah, because then you get to flow better. Yeah, I like doing that before I go to a studio and actually record because then I get to put more feeling and emotion in my song than actually looking at my phone, trying to remember what the lyrics are, type shit.

Yeah, and I have noticed that doing that. Whenever I go into the studio and record, I feel like I'm more in tune with the song. Um, and I'm not struggling trying to look at my phone, trying to figure out the lyrics. Because I've been working on the song for so long and listening to the same beat repetitiously, so it's just like it started to stick.

Um I do use I do I do use some slang, but I try to have like my own unique sound whenever I'm creating and uh writing music, you know, because hip-hop doesn't always have to be about like bad bitches and selling drugs.

Honestly, it don't always gotta be about that. Honestly, hip-hop came from a way of expressing yourself in an artist, right? In an artistry way, you know what I mean? Creative way. So I think they turned that into more doing it for clout, like doing it for money and doing it for the bad bitches and doing it for the drugs and doing it.

Well, and this but the thing about hip-hop is that it was always a way to kind of like flex and show off. So that aspect I can respect as well, but I just don't think that should be the only focus of hip-hop. It's just like constant flexing. That's true. Because I mean, if you look at if you go back to like the beginning of hip-hop and you look at the godfathers like um Eric B and Rockim, uh, you know, when you when you look at their music videos and some of their songs, like they had like the flashy chains. Yeah, they were flexing. They had like the flashy things, but they were still, but there was still a message to. There was still knowledge, too. But if you again, if you go and you look back at like all the godfathers of hip-hop, they were wearing the flashy chains, they had the limousines, they had the girls and stuff like that. But there was always a message to it. I just kind of feel like with hip-hop, it just lost a message. But it's always been about flexing.

Music? Oh god. Um I've been doing music for a while. So I released my first single in 2021, which was Point of No Return. Uh, and that was when I was with Jamal Wade Forever Paid. That was like the first promo uh label I had like ever been with was Jamal Wade. And this was when I was in the military.

Dropping April. Now I mean she is in the works. That shit finna be lit as fuck. I'm super excited. Uh she's an amazing artist. Yeah, yes.

I love it. I love working with her because she challenges me to do better. And she uh always has my best interests, she always has my best interests at heart, and she always wants what's best for me. Um, she doesn't let me give up on myself.

Because being an artist is it hasn't been an easy journey, and um, it does come with uh self-doubt sometimes. And so uh my girls have been there for me like throughout the whole nine. And so working with Gibby has been an experience that I wish I could have again. I wish I could have met her like when I first started, but I'm glad I met her now. Yeah.

Um, let's see. Well, pretty much like uh with uh Gibby for sure. And then um I do have uh another artist that I'm currently working with as well. I will say as an artist, the more I grow, um, the more notoriety that I gain, and everyone's like, yo, do you want to do a feature? Do you want to do a feature? And I am so introverted that I just it's like you ever seen a turtle who like comes out of the shell, and then when like people are like, Oh, look at the cute little turtle. It's like I go back and being like, uh-uh, that was only yeah, that's just what it's been like. Um you still be shy? Do you shy when you perform? No, actually, I feel like I've gotten better at that.

The hardest obstacle. The hardest obstacle for me, I would definitely have to say the hardest thing for me, uh, definitely has been um self-confidence. It's been a struggle, yeah. And I only say that because I'm just a hard critic on myself, and then I have to be very careful with that because it can lash out on people that I care about. So that's uh that's been a tough one for me. So I'm working on it.

What's been helping me whenever I feel that way? Honestly, reaching out, reaching out to my friends, um, and just uh another thing that really helps too is chat GPT. Whenever I feel um, whenever I feel like I'm not sure or I'm not sure of what I'm doing exactly, I'll just kind of go to Chat GPT for references just to kind of like get me back on track. Because sometimes I feel like I'm off balance. So I'll reach out to my friends, I'll go to Chat GPT, and then for the most part, I'll just sit in my car and I'll just work on the movie. Okay.
