SPEAKER_01

Alright, so on this Coffee First Podcast, we are at Mutiny Cat uh Mutiny Comics Coffee and Comics, but it's a cafe too. So if you haven't heard of Mutiny, they got comics upstairs, they got records upstairs. Downstairs is where we at where they host the open mic gyms, they host a whole bunch of other gyms here. If you haven't checked it out here, you slacking for real. And we got solid the artist, also known as Salidity Captain. You gotta tap in if you haven't.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, Captain, let's fucking go.

SPEAKER_01

How are you doing?

SPEAKER_00

I'm doing good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah? That's good, that's good. So before I get started, need you to look into this camera right here.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, what's that?

SPEAKER_01

Shout out who you are and where we can find you.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, what's good, y'all? So I'm Solidity, aka Solid the Artist, your new phase. I am streaming on all platforms, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud. SoundCloud, I'm still getting ready, but yes, all three I am currently streaming. Currently got my latest project, SU, Sally University, is out right now, really heavily pushing rehab. I got visuals for that coming up end of this month for March Madness, so stay tuned. And on Instagram, you can follow me at the official solidity as well as my marketing or my uh fan page, Sally University.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, hey, yay. You were modeling too, right?

SPEAKER_00

I was, yes, yes. Uh I do um so modeling. I've kind of been doing modeling since I was 16, 17. Uh, but my passion's always been in music. I do feel like as an artist, you're automatically a model, so it just kind of comes with the territory.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, alright, that. So you stopped modeling?

SPEAKER_00

Um, I wouldn't necessarily say I stopped modeling because again, as an artist, you're automatically tied into modeling. But I will say that I'm more so focused on uh the music side. And um, I think when it comes to modeling, I'm more so into kind of like doing uh or I'm looking forward to receiving like uh brand deals or like modeling for um other people's uh designs to you know show them in my music videos and things of that nature. But as far as like runway and like fashion model, like Victoria's Secret, uh not yet. Not quite.

SPEAKER_01

Um here, click that on you somewhere. It's about to fall. Okay. Or I got a magnet too.

SPEAKER_00

I think we're good.

SPEAKER_01

You can magnetize it.

SPEAKER_00

I think we're okay.

SPEAKER_01

I make up words like that. Okay. Magnetized isn't a made-up word, but how I used it is a made-up way. So ever you want to use a word the made-up way, just say it. I feel like that's the simplest thing. So besides modeling and hip-hop, what's another talent that you hiding from us that you got?

SPEAKER_00

Uh ooh, uh, besides modeling and hip hop, uh, another talent is would be uh healthcare. Healthcare? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. You a nice? I'm a CNA. Oh, yes. And I'm also a medical assistant, yeah. Okay. Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Where at?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You don't gotta tell us the hospital and say, oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

No, you're okay. You're okay. So I'm a CNA at a um senior living or at a skilled nursing facility. Yeah, in the spring. Um, and yeah, I kind of do that just to pay the bills and um to really fund my music career. But it is a passion of mine that I do love. Uh but I will say that doing doing this kind of work uh has really opened my eyes, and I I kind of feel like uh it's not what I thought it was going to be. So um, as far as like pursuing nursing or any type of nursing degree, I kind of put that on the back burner and I'm focusing more on my music.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah, that is a hidden talent.

SPEAKER_01

Is that like the you went to schooling for it and everything? That's like I did, I passed at you.

SPEAKER_00

It was at one point, but then I decided that music is just really where I want to be right now.

SPEAKER_01

I feel that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I tried maintenance. Well, I tried the maintenance business, but I didn't really pursue it how I should because I wanted to do music more. Yeah. So I put it aside, but just hopping back into it because it's still be making bread. I ain't gonna talk.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, yeah, for sure. Like CNA is something I definitely need to do.

SPEAKER_01

C and A still be making bread.

SPEAKER_00

But I just find that I'm loving music a lot more. But yeah, that's one of my hidden talents, health science.

SPEAKER_01

That's cool, that's cool.

SPEAKER_00

Taking care of people.

SPEAKER_01

Before I move on, all right, I'm gonna get the main question out the way. Okay. This is the heat, all right? All right, what's your morning routine as a creator?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, my morning routine as a creator. I will listen to a beat on my way to work, and I will probably listen to that beat if I'm working on a song. I'll probably listen to it for at least like I'll probably listen to it for about five days before I start writing. Typically I'll write like in between, but once I actually like start like getting the bars together, getting the hook together, and things like that, I'll listen to it for about five days.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Yeah, that's actually a trick that I learned from um this one artist that I'm currently doing a collab with. Um, she taught me, shout out to Chi Give Me. She taught me, she was like, if you ever want to like learn a beat or when you're writing, she said you you have to listen to it consistently. Otherwise, it's not gonna stick. Like you can't listen to it just once. You have to keep listening to it. And it gets redundant, it gets redundant, but if you keep doing it and keep listening to it, like it's gonna stick, and then the words will start to come in on their own.

SPEAKER_01

That's true. Yeah, because then you get to flow better. Yeah, I like doing that before I go to a studio and actually record because then I get to put more feeling and emotion in my song than actually looking at my phone, trying to remember what the lyrics are, type shit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and I have noticed that doing that. Whenever I go into the studio and record, I feel like I'm more in tune with the song. Um, and I'm not struggling trying to look at my phone, trying to figure out the lyrics. Because I've been working on the song for so long and listening to the same beat repetitiously, so it's just like it started to stick.

SPEAKER_01

So I feel that I feel that I feel that. You've been using a lot of slang in your songs, like a lot of video.

SPEAKER_00

Don't let, okay, don't let the um preppy girl fool fool you. Like I do use some slang. But I don't try to be a gangster or gangbanger or anything. You gotta be a gangster to be slang. Well, um, yeah. Um I do use I do I do use some slang, but I try to have like my own unique sound whenever I'm creating and uh writing music, you know, because hip-hop doesn't always have to be about like bad bitches and selling drugs.

SPEAKER_01

Honestly, it don't always gotta be about that. Honestly, hip-hop came from a way of expressing yourself in an artist, right? In an artistry way, you know what I mean? Creative way. So I think they turned that into more doing it for clout, like doing it for money and doing it for the bad bitches and doing it for the drugs and doing it.

SPEAKER_00

Well, and this but the thing about hip-hop is that it was always a way to kind of like flex and show off. So that aspect I can respect as well, but I just don't think that should be the only focus of hip-hop. It's just like constant flexing. That's true. Because I mean, if you look at if you go back to like the beginning of hip-hop and you look at the godfathers like um Eric B and Rockim, uh, you know, when you when you look at their music videos and some of their songs, like they had like the flashy chains. Yeah, they were flexing. They had like the flashy things, but they were still, but there was still a message to. There was still knowledge, too. But if you again, if you go and you look back at like all the godfathers of hip-hop, they were wearing the flashy chains, they had the limousines, they had the girls and stuff like that. But there was always a message to it. I just kind of feel like with hip-hop, it just lost a message. But it's always been about flexing.

SPEAKER_01

It's always been. Yeah, yeah. So what's some what's some slang words that you've used? Can you give us some slang words that you've used? That became more of your vocabulary.

SPEAKER_00

So, like, I mean, this is this is like to me, this is like basic and like typical. But um, in my one song Socially awkward, like, wake up then I bake up, roll up fatty cake up, stack in all this bread. You would think that I'm the baker. So like a need a baker, you know, like type shit. All right.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, all right, all right.

SPEAKER_00

You know?

SPEAKER_01

I see that, I see that. You got another one?

SPEAKER_00

Uh, right off the top of the dome. Ah, shit. Let me think, let me think, let me think.

SPEAKER_01

Uh what what talk about some of the songs you sent me? Like those are part of your your project.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, uh, yes, it is a part of S U. Just remind me again. I know I sent you rehab. Yeah. What else did I send?

SPEAKER_01

You sent me two songs a part of the project.

SPEAKER_00

I know I sent you rehab. Uh, I probably sent you smoke, drink, repeat. Ah, yes. There's definitely some slang in that one. Um, yeah, that's another song. Uh, me and my team. Shout out, shout out, got a guy. Sorry, y'all. My jacket's like a little slimmy, but shout out got a guy. Um, but yeah, we're getting just ready to create more content because we're getting ready to kind of close out um SU. Uh, because it was my first project. So, you know what I mean? Gotta do a nice little goodbye for it. Not a like a goodbye, but you know what I mean? Because we're getting ready for some new stuff. Some love.

SPEAKER_02

Some love for it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, smoke, drink, repeat. Um, let's see. What did I say for smoke, drink, repeat? Like, oh, I said um Lee your girl when meh, she goes missing three weeks. No, you guys, I promise. That's awesome. I'm I'm I'm like, I like you know, I'm not um, I love the gay community, but no, I I don't go that way. I was just it was more of like when I said that, like that line.

SPEAKER_01

You're going to have females in your inbox after you.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, no, I don't think so. No, I I don't know. I don't, I feel like with um with that, I I feel like you know, like those girls are like they're I feel like I don't fit the aesthetic. Like they're baddies.

SPEAKER_01

I'm just I'm just chilling. You know what I mean? Like so you think you gotta be a baddie to be like going both ways?

SPEAKER_00

Like no, I just I feel like they're very like that to that community is full of like very beautiful, very like uh like spicy and watch, you're gonna have a stud from that community coming up to you and being like, oh, and saying all that, watch.

SPEAKER_01

Once you get that stuff fun, uh just just just send me like a thumbs up, like on your on Instagram and be like, and I'm gonna know what it means.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna like playing with it. When I said that, when I said that line, like um when I said uh leave your girl with me, she goes missing three weeks. I I said that because like it's just I have such a found respect for women and feel like they're so beautiful, and I feel like women don't they don't get the respect that they deserve. So like when I was saying that, I was low-key like throwing shots like at the fellas because I'm like, bro, you don't know how to treat your girl? Alright, well shit, send her to my crew, send her to my team. Like, she's gonna go miss it for three weeks though.

SPEAKER_01

She said, send her to my team and I'll hand it her for three.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, for sure, for three weeks. Like, yeah, not me.

SPEAKER_01

That's why you're gonna have a lot of studs in your inbox. That's funny. Not just studs, because you're gonna have a lot of females that go both ways in your inbox.

SPEAKER_00

Uh no, I don't, but uh, I don't know that way.

SPEAKER_01

No, okay. I've heard from uh uh uh this is uh this was in a child's in a child show. Okay, you gotta try new things because it might be good.

SPEAKER_00

Nah.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_01

But that only goes one way. That doesn't go.

SPEAKER_00

I I wouldn't I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

SPEAKER_01

I like being You hurting the man's feelings, you take it new girls.

SPEAKER_00

I think I could go position. I think it's gonna set it up. Stop! I'm done. Oh my god, you're hilarious. No, I just I have a lot of respect um for the LGBTQ community, and it just it wouldn't be fair to like lead uh another woman on when I know that that's not where my heart is.

SPEAKER_01

How long you've been doing music for?

SPEAKER_00

Music? Oh god. Um I've been doing music for a while. So I released my first single in 2021, which was Point of No Return. Uh, and that was when I was with Jamal Wade Forever Paid. That was like the first promo uh label I had like ever been with was Jamal Wade. And this was when I was in the military.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Um, and then from there, music just kind of like took off, you know. So I've been doing music since 2021. Um so I've been doing it for probably about four or five years now. So yeah. And I'm very proud of the growth and the success that has come with it. Even the trials and tribulations, the failures and things like that, you know. I just I still try to keep going.

SPEAKER_01

No sense. One more time. Shout out who you are where we can find your music. Hey.

SPEAKER_00

What's good, y'all? So again, my name is Solidity, aka Solid the Artist, your new fave. I'm on Instagram, the official Solidity and Solid University, my backup page. And I'm streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and the song that you should go check out is Smoke Chink Repeat and Rehab. Two of my faves. Check out later.

SPEAKER_01

How long was in the how long were you in the military?

SPEAKER_00

I was in the military four four years.

SPEAKER_01

Four years? That's dope. Did you go like right off of high school? No.

SPEAKER_00

No. Fun fact, I spent one of my birthdays in the gas chamber.

SPEAKER_01

Oh shit. That was fun.

SPEAKER_00

That really is.

SPEAKER_01

Damn.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's crazy. How was that?

SPEAKER_00

I didn't fun, but not fun. I had snot coming all down my nose. And then they tell you to flap your arms, so I was flap my arms, so I look really fun. I didn't look very aesthetically pleasing. Wow. And my eyes were all teary from like the tear gas. Oh shit. It was not a very pretty sight. Uh not fun. I did a lot of rock marches. That was not fun either.

SPEAKER_01

That's a rememberable birthday. That's one you never forget.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And then I spent another birthday in Kuwait. When you're in the military, you're just like never home. That's cool though.

SPEAKER_01

I like traveling though. You probably travel a lot.

SPEAKER_00

It was nice. Actually, not as much. Not as much. I did only one tour out of my entire military career, which was Kuwait.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. But it was nice.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, so you did the one tour in the whole four years? I didn't know they. I thought it was four years and then you did the tour.

SPEAKER_00

No, I mean, if I would have like did another contract, yeah, but I said no, I'm good on that. I was like, okay. I did my four years and I got out.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah. I saw that. I would have done the same thing. I did RLTC up until high school.

SPEAKER_00

Oh wow. And I was gonna join.

SPEAKER_01

But I got expelled, so I think that saved me from the city. What?

SPEAKER_00

You expelled?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What were you doing?

SPEAKER_01

I was tagging the school and selling weed. And then I sold weed and brought this dude to tag with me, and he got caught when I was tagging on the camera.

SPEAKER_00

You supposed to be incognito, not. I learned that. Like, come on, bro. You know the code. You disrespected the code.

SPEAKER_01

Look, I was a senior, I was a youngin'. I ain't called it. Like, I was just like, you know what? Come with me, man. Yeah. Do this when you tag. And then he was like, okay. And I was like, don't look up when you walk through these stairs. That is. And then he was like, weird. I was like, dumbass. Got caught. That's right. He's supposed to not look at the camera. But yeah. They found him in class and then they pulled me out of class. And then I ran around the hallway and threw everything in the trash and then ran back around. And it was like, okay, y'all can take it.

SPEAKER_00

Wow. Well, you know what? I mean, maybe the military just wasn't for you. It's not for a lot of people. Definitely wasn't for me. Which is why I did four years and I got out.

SPEAKER_01

What makes you with this red color?

SPEAKER_00

The red. Hey, I feel like it's a good color for me. Um, it is one of my favorite colors.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Are you a fire sign?

SPEAKER_00

No, I'm actually a Virgo. I'm Earth sign. My my color is not fire. But I just I feel like red really sets the tone and it like really compliments me. So I just like the red.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Yeah. Because you got a fire soul, fiery soul, huh?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

You got that earth sign, but you got that fire energy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because I'm an air sign, but they say I move like a water sign. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Sometimes I mean, I don't know. You know, astrology, maybe sometimes it doesn't always get it right. Who knows?

SPEAKER_01

I had a reading. Have you ever got a reading?

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

You should get a reading. I got a reading the other day. That shit was surprisingly accurate and scary. And I looked at the person like, what you really know? Like, what you doing?

SPEAKER_00

I'll I'll have the. But she was cool. She was cool with it.

SPEAKER_01

It was dope. You should definitely get one if you get one from anybody. Get one from Barbara. Oh Barb, she does like uh astrology classes and like apothecary classes and all this stuff. Like it's pretty dope. It's pretty dope. She does a lot of healing and stuff like that. She's pretty cool. She's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. That sounds dope.

SPEAKER_01

So what's the next move for you?

SPEAKER_00

Like shows.

SPEAKER_01

You got you doing this hip hop thing, full drive. You got shows lined up, you got projects dropping.

SPEAKER_00

So I do have projects dropping. Um, so I do have a project uh that is going to be released uh sometime next month. I'm super excited. Um I've been working with a very talented artist by the name of Gucci Gibby, and uh we have a project called G Shit. Git Yeah, yeah. Shout it out, shout it out, shout it out. Hey, G shit. Dropping April. Now I mean she is in the works. That shit finna be lit as fuck. I'm super excited. Uh she's an amazing artist. Yeah, yes.

SPEAKER_01

How was it working with her?

SPEAKER_00

I love it. I love working with her because she challenges me to do better. And she uh always has my best interests, she always has my best interests at heart, and she always wants what's best for me. Um, she doesn't let me give up on myself.

SPEAKER_01

That's nice. Yes, that's nice, yeah. So she's like a friend as far as as much as like somebody you worked with, yeah, she's a friend.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely, absolutely, 100%. Um, with her, my other friends, sometimes I'd be like, girl, how do y'all play up with me? Because being an artist is it hasn't been an easy journey, and um, it does come with uh self-doubt sometimes. And so uh my girls have been there for me like throughout the whole nine. And so working with Gibby has been an experience that I wish I could have again. I wish I could have met her like when I first started, but I'm glad I met her now. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Does everybody you hang out with like they all make music or is it like different?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So you made music with pretty much all of them?

SPEAKER_00

Um, let's see. Well, pretty much like uh with uh Gibby for sure. And then um I do have uh another artist that I'm currently working with as well. I will say as an artist, the more I grow, um, the more notoriety that I gain, and everyone's like, yo, do you want to do a feature? Do you want to do a feature? And I am so introverted that I just it's like you ever seen a turtle who like comes out of the shell, and then when like people are like, Oh, look at the cute little turtle. It's like I go back and being like, uh-uh, that was only yeah, that's just what it's been like. Um you still be shy? Do you shy when you perform? No, actually, I feel like I've gotten better at that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. Yeah. You don't seem shy when you perform, you don't seem shy when you do your music.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, believe it or not, it's something that I had to learn for myself, not uh being shy, like just being very confident when I go out on stage and then going back into my show behind stage. But I mean, now that I'm like in the light, like I don't even get that anymore. It's just like I just constantly networking.

SPEAKER_01

It'd be like that. It'd be like when I walk into a spot, I'll be in my shell until you know I smoke a good blind, and then I'll be like typically I have to take like a shot or two, and then I'm good to go.

SPEAKER_00

Um, so yeah, so that's what I have. Um, as far as upcoming projects, I got uh G shit. Um I have some summer projects uh coming up. Um so yeah, I'll be on the lookout for those. Um and um as far as shows, uh I'm getting with my team, Johnny Gotta Guy. Again, shout out Gotta Guy promotions. Uh so they are going to get with me and we're gonna have a sit down and talk about what's next for Solidity, what shows we got coming up, projects that are gonna be dropping soon. So I'm really excited. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I'm really excited. That's nice, that's nice.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and so we will probably be doing another interview soon, so this way I can let the world know what I got coming next.

SPEAKER_01

That's nice, that's nice, I like that shit. So, hmm. I don't usually ask, you know, I haven't asked this this question in a while just because it's more like for fun than shits around. Okay. But if you had a superpower, what would it be?

SPEAKER_00

I got asked this question before. I did by I got I got asked this question by five. Shout out five. Um she asked me if I could have a superpower, what would it be? And I told her that I think I told her something cheesy. I told her that it's a pretty cliche one, but I would want the power to like bring world peace. And she said, Okay, where would you start? And I said, I would start with the ladies first. And she said, why? And I was like, we need to have a congregation, just the ladies, like we need to have a sit down. So yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You know what's funny? No, it's that ladies get together so easily, like ladies women will get together so easily and just stand together, or they'll go you know hang out together and all this other stuff.

SPEAKER_00

It's a lot easier said than that.

SPEAKER_01

Men can't do that. You ask a man to go ahead and hang out with a whole bunch of men like that, it is gonna be like, nah, they can't.

SPEAKER_00

It's so much easier said than done. I know it sounds like it would smell like hot tea and cocoa, there would be so much chaos in that probably. You think there would be more chaos than men? Like on a range. I can't say that. I can't say there would be more chaos than men could men, because I'm not a man. But what I will say is that it would take a lot of ladies, let's all come together. And then it would it would probably get a little crazy. Yeah, maybe. But then again, I'm just one person.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I I mean, I could definitely understand it now that you put that perspective in my head, because I've definitely seen some where, you know, females not getting along and you know, they just beating and they're like, nah, fuck this bitch.

SPEAKER_00

Oh Lord Jesus. See, that's what we talked about. You know? Oh my god, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So I definitely see that perspective of it. I just don't I don't I would have honestly, I should I'm gonna just test it. I'm gonna see. I'm gonna see. I'm gonna just test it.

SPEAKER_00

Well, good luck. I'm gonna try it. All the power to you.

SPEAKER_01

We're gonna put this on the bucket list, you know, have a have a retreat with just females and have a retreat with just males and see which one has the most chaos.

SPEAKER_00

All right. I don't well, we already have shows like that, you know, like I guess like uh baddies and uh love and hip hop stuff.

SPEAKER_01

They're drunk all the time though.

SPEAKER_00

Like those ones I think they were towards young girls party every night. Well, see, I I only watch bad girl clubs. I haven't watched baddies yet.

SPEAKER_01

My sister watches it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah. I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

SPEAKER_01

I I just uh And she doesn't she has it loud on her TV, so it's like blazing.

SPEAKER_00

I'm just like I'm listening to it, and I'm just like Yeah, I watch a lot of Netflix. I watch I I I watch my comfort shows a lot. Like I'll sit there and re-watch girlfriends like a hundred times. So that's something if you guys wanted to know something about me. I'm a Netflix girly. I just like to when I'm not doing music, um, I'll just like sit on my couch and I'll just watch reruns of girlfriends and solar opposites. Solar opposites is funny.

SPEAKER_01

Solar opposites is funny.

SPEAKER_00

A lot of people don't know about solar opposites.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know about robot chicken? I mean not robot chicken, guys.

SPEAKER_00

What?

SPEAKER_01

Love, death and robots.

SPEAKER_00

No, I know about cow and chicken and robot chicken.

SPEAKER_01

If you're on Netflix, check out Love, Death, and Robots.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. I will have to check.

SPEAKER_01

That show is like a robot chicken, but it's like it's not like a robot chicken. It's like a robot chicken in different episodes. Like, like one episode is about this, but it's only like 15 minutes long. And then another episode is about this, but it's only like 10 minutes long.

SPEAKER_00

Alright.

SPEAKER_01

It's like black box.

SPEAKER_00

I will have to, I will have to take your word for it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, you don't, it's gonna it's gonna be one that's gonna mess with your mind. Watch it high too.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I watched it on some mushrooms, and that shit was fucking with my head. I was like, Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god. Are you are we allowed to say this on camera?

SPEAKER_01

What?

SPEAKER_00

You're not gonna we're not gonna get arrested by by 12.

SPEAKER_01

Uh no, if they come for me for eating mushrooms, I'm gonna tell them I'm in Colorado.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, wait, I thought only weed was legal here.

SPEAKER_01

No, you can do mushrooms too.

SPEAKER_00

Mushrooms is legal. I did not know that. I'm learning so much being here in the state.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so I'm gonna be like, look, I'm in the 303. I can smoke weed and do mushrooms. All I want. But once I cross that line, you can get me, but I ain't gonna you ain't gonna catch me.

SPEAKER_00

Cross that line or snort that line?

SPEAKER_01

No. Cross it. I can't snort the line. No.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Alrighty.

SPEAKER_00

You know, kids could be watching this. We gotta, we gotta keep it PG.

SPEAKER_01

This is just education. Don't snort lines. Like to all the children out there, don't snort the line. If somebody offers you a line, do not snort it. That's it away. That's all y'all do.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Wise words from Goodman.

SPEAKER_01

I'll try to cut that part out.

SPEAKER_00

Wise words from solar eclipse.

SPEAKER_01

How you do it? All right, one more time. Shout out where we could find you, who you are, and your project dropping.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, hey, so again, what's good, y'all? I am Solidity, aka Solid the Artist, dear new fabe. I am on all platforms Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud. You can find me on Instagram at the official Solidity as well as Solid University, my next project. I mean, we got G Shit dropping, we got summer projects dropping, so stay tuned. Shout out Gotta Guy Promotion, shout out Gucci Gibby.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, and before you get out of here, what's been the hardest thing you've you've like crossed on this journey?

SPEAKER_00

The hardest obstacle. The hardest obstacle for me, I would definitely have to say the hardest thing for me, uh, definitely has been um self-confidence. It's been a struggle, yeah. And I only say that because I'm just a hard critic on myself, and then I have to be very careful with that because it can lash out on people that I care about. So that's uh that's been a tough one for me. So I'm working on it.

SPEAKER_01

What's a quote? What's a quote you got for us for that self-confidence?

SPEAKER_00

Uh you said a mantra.

SPEAKER_01

A mantra or a quote? Like what's what's been helping you?

SPEAKER_00

What's been helping me whenever I feel that way? Honestly, reaching out, reaching out to my friends, um, and just uh another thing that really helps too is chat GPT. Whenever I feel um, whenever I feel like I'm not sure or I'm not sure of what I'm doing exactly, I'll just kind of go to Chat GPT for references just to kind of like get me back on track. Because sometimes I feel like I'm off balance. So I'll reach out to my friends, I'll go to Chat GPT, and then for the most part, I'll just sit in my car and I'll just work on the movie. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I never heard that before. That's pretty true. It's a coffee first podcast, podcast, migrating, new effort in every day, do what you gotta do. And if you haven't checked out Mutiny, you slap it. If you don't tap in with Solid the Artist, then you definitely slap it.
